After spending years trying to create healthy home environments for our own families, we decided to help make the process easier for others.
Adults typically spend one third of their lives in bed. While sleeping, your body is trying to rest, heal and rejuvenate. During the day, most of us are bombarded by toxins, pollution, electromagnetic fields and stress. It makes sense to create a sleeping environment that is free from all of those hazards. We feel that your bedroom should be a sanctuary. We can help you create that tranquil haven.
With the experience of five children between us, the knowledge of how babies are so vulnerable to toxins in the environment, and given the amount of time our babies spend in their cribs or wrapped in a blanket, we also want to focus on the nursery.
We understand that health and safety are primary concerns for parents, but recognize that style and design are important, too. We are here to help you make healthy choices for your nursery without sacrificing a sense of style.
When creating a nursery, it is critical to note that pound-for-pound, children breathe more air, drink more water, and eat more food than adults. In other words, even a small amount of contaminants that would have minimal impact on an adult can have enormous impact on a child. And because many common pollutants, such as fire retardants, have a cumulative effect, it's important to minimize the levels of contaminants exposed to children wherever possible.
You'll find more information about our products and mattresses in the products section.
At Green for Bedroom and Baby we are committed to helping you provide a healthy environment for you or for your baby.
